Columbia River at Wenatchee
Fishing for Chinook and sockeye salmon can be outstanding right in Wenatchee. We launch at Confluence State Park below Rocky Reach Dam or at Lincoln Rock State Park just above Rocky Reach Dam (Discover Passes required to park at both locations). These fishing spots are usually good for a few hours first thing in the morning or in the evening. Maybe you want to fit in a few hours of fishing before work or whatever your day’s activities may be or maybe you want to relax on the water for a few hours after your day. These close-to-town locations do not need big planning or time commitments and can be very rewarding.
