Walleye fishing has been fantastic on Banks Lake and Moses Lake this spring! Limits of eating size walleye up to 22 inches have been the norm with bigger fish fairly common. The month of June is prime time to make a trip to Banks Lake. June is my favorite month to fish Banks Lake. The walleye are post spawn and have moved to their late spring and early summer hangouts to feed heavily. Covering water with bottom bouncers and spinners with nightcrawlers will ALWAYS produce and, my favorite technique, trolling crank baits can be super productive as well. Don't miss out, book a trip today for some June walleye fishing!
Also, salmon season is just around the corner (starts July 1st) for the Upper Columbia River. The summer Chinook run is looking good and should provide pretty good action. We will have to wait and see if there will be some sort of sockeye fishery but I'm optimistic that we will have one. Remember it's never to early to book your salmon trip as salmon are the big prize here in the NCW!
